Mrs. Jacqueline Abyss yawned and stretched her body out to its limits. It had been a long day of acts and speed, and now that she was finally allowed to wind down, she felt too wound up to even think of sleeping or relaxing. She needed some time with her husband, and she knew that then, she would be able to relax.
As she entered the Living Building, and smiled as the warm air touched at her skin. It ate away the cold that being outside all day had caused to settle in her body, and she started to very slowly relax. She almost forgot the many, many stairs that she would have walk up if she wished to go to her room.
Cursing the lack of an elevator not for the first time, Jacque began her climb up the stairs. Being a gypsy of sorts helped build her leg muscles, but of course, that didn't meant that it didn't make her sore to walk up all of those stairs. When she finally got to the top, she was back to being quite frustrated and stressed.
She burst through their suite of living rooms when she got there, and closed the doors as almost an afterthought. "James? Are you here? I need a back-rub," she complained. Taking off her heels, she slid out of her constricting bodice and dress, and quickly donned a comfortable, formfitting nightgown.
