Arkhanta's Myth

There are legends bound to repeat themselves.....

Arkhanta.

Our realm is peaceful, or at least it was. The legend says that a mysterious light emerging from the sky gave life to dark, twisted creatures. Demons and necromancers started to appear and while at first they weren't many; their numbers soon increased.

Their purpose was unknown to everyone. Some believed they were the remainings of damned souls, seeking to come back to life. Some others believed they wanted to take the world; expand their territory by plunging the world of Light into a dark void. Many theories; none ever proved to be correct.

They invaded our world, threatening to destroy everyone and everything that dared to attempt to come into it's way. War unleashed between this dark force and the rest of the creatures. Things that nobody ever imagined started to happen once more. The Mystical Guardians abandoned their sanctuaries to join forces with the rest of the creatures. The humans and the eleves came to a truce after centuries of war in order to help restore peace in the world. Peaceful beings became harsh with the fire of war raging across the world, and many died.

And somehow, it ended. The sacrifice of two innocent beings put an end to the war; and peace was finally restored. Decades passed, the legend became a myth and it was soon forgotten.

But history is to repeat itself; and a dark aura has started to roam around the Realm once more. War is coming once more.
